Your journey begins with the 22 Major Arcana cards—the archetypes representing life's major lessons, transformations, challenges, awakenings, and milestones.
Through The Fool's/Hero's Journey, you'll discover how the Major Arcana tells a connected story rather than representing 22 unrelated cards.
You'll explore symbolism, upright and reversed meanings, intuitive interpretation, archetypes, and the deeper lessons contained within each card.
Part Two: Minor Arcana
Next, we'll dive into the 56 cards that reflect the experiences of everyday life.
You'll explore:
Wands — passion, creativity, action, and ambition
Cups — emotions, relationships, intuition, and connection
Swords — thoughts, communication, decisions, and challenges
Pentacles — career, finances, health, home, and the physical world
You'll also explore the Aces through Tens, numerology, elemental associations, symbolism, and the often-misunderstood Court Cards: Pages, Knights, Queens, and Kings.
Rather than memorizing 56 separate definitions, you'll learn the patterns that connect the Minor Arcana so the cards become easier and more intuitive to interpret.
Part Three: Tarot in Practice — The Art of Reading
Once you've learned the cards, it's time to read them.
This portion of the Academy bridges the gap between knowing what individual Tarot cards mean and confidently interpreting an entire spread.
You'll practice connecting multiple cards, recognizing patterns, choosing spreads, asking effective questions, combining traditional meanings with intuition, working through challenging card combinations, and communicating the story unfolding within a reading.
